SPORTS DAY 2022

This year we are celebrating the Commonwealth Games and using the colours of the Union Jack flag for our three teams.

On the day of your child's sports day, can they please wear a t-shirt with their class colour:

 

Red

 FC, 1HI, 2H, 3EO, 4H, 5A, 6P

 

White

FS, 1L, 2CB, 3JM, 4M, 5F, 6R

 

Blue

FT, 1S, 2CE, 3LR, 4W, 5G, 6W

 

Foundation 2 sports day will be held on Wednesday 13th July running 1.30-3.30pm

KS1 sports day will be held on Thursday 7th July running 1.30-3.30pm

Lower KS2 sports day will be held on Friday 8th July running 9.00-12.00pm

Upper KS2 sports day will be held on Friday 8th July running 12.30-3.30pm

 

Parents are welcome to attend all sports days, and will need to enter the school through the top playground gate. All spectators must stay in the designated area for the safety of the children.

Spring Term 1 Update

The following teams played in fixtures or competitions against other schools:

Year 3/4 Netball (1 fixture)

Year 5/6 Tag Rugby (1 fixture)

Year 5/6 Football (Took part in the MK league)

Year 5/6 Indoor Athletics (competition)

Year 5/6 Dodgeball (competition)

Year 4 Basketball (1 fixture)

Year 6 Basketball (1 fixture)

 

A new list of after-school clubs for the term have also been sent out. If you are interested in your child taking part in a club, please visit the clubs section of the website.

Autumn Term 2 Update

The following teams played in fixtures or competitions against other schools:

Year 5/6 Football (1 fixture)

Year 3/4 Football (1 fixture)

Year 5/6 Netball (1 fixture)

 

We also had Year 4 and Year 5 Netball Intra-school competitions, with 4M winning for Year 4, and 5G the winners for Year 5. Congratulations to all of those that took part.

Autumn Term 1 Update

A very busy half term getting back to normal lessons, after school clubs and fixtures/competitions.

 

This term classes have PE on the following days and will need their PE kit:

Monday - 2CE, 3LR, 5A, 6W, 6R, 6P

Tuesday - 2CB, 3MJ, 3CO, 3LR

Wednesday - 1HI, 1L, 3CO, Foundation 2

Thursday - 1FI, 4M, 4CW, 4H

Friday - 2H, 4H, 4M, 4W, 5G, 5A, 5F

Cross Country Success 

A huge congratulations to all that took part in the cross country competition on Saturday 16th October at MK Bowl. Overall our school came 2nd in the large school category which is our best results ever as a school!

We are setting a challenge to see if all of the pupils and staff at New Bradwell School can walk enough steps to walk around the World - a total of 65,740,000 (roughly). Each day try to remember to add your total to the spreadsheet and we can see how far we can walk as a School. Good luck!
MK School Sports Challenge

Thank you for everybody that took part in the MK School Sports Challenge. It lasted 20 weeks in total and there were hundreds of participates across MK.

New Bradwell consistently had one of the highest participation rates so well done to all that got involved, especially during the first lockdown in March.
